2. What is GCP ?

GCP is an abbreviation for Genistein Combined Polysaccharide. GCP is a novel functional health food produced by fermentation of soybean isoflavone extracts with basidiomycetes mushrooms. GCP contains a rich content of isoflavone aglycones, especially genistein, as well as a rich content of polysaccharides from basidiomycetes. Amino Up Chemical Co’s innovative technology allowed successful transformation of isoflavone glycoside into isoflavone aglycones by using -glucosidase enzyme, the fermentation product of basidiomycetes. As a result, GCP combines the anti-angiogenesis effects of genistein with the apoptosis inducing effects of basidiomycete polysaccharides, both of which act to enhance the immune response and exert their anti-tumor activities.
